One undated week. Write in your habits and tick them on paper.

Saved in this browser, on this device. No account needed. Clearing browser data removes your habits. Private browsing may clear them when you close the window.

Edit habit

Removing a habit also removes its ticked days. You can undo this until you leave or reload the page.

How to use this habit tracker

  1. Add one small habit. Type something you want to make time for, or choose an idea from the tracker. Be specific: “Read a few pages” is easier to act on than “Read more”.
  2. Check it off today. Tap Done today beside your habit. Tap it again to undo. The calendar underneath lets you correct earlier days in the weekly or monthly view; future days stay unavailable.
  3. Come back when it suits you. Your habits and ticked days save in this browser. Switch between Weekly and Monthly, use the arrows to look back, or print a copy to keep.

What is a habit tracker?

A habit tracker is a record of the things you do repeatedly. Write down a habit, then mark each day you do it. Over time, those marks give you a picture of your routine: the things you make room for, and the things that might need a different time or a smaller starting point.

This daily habit tracker keeps that simple. There are no scores, reminders to configure or streaks to protect. The weekly and monthly views give you a little space to notice what you did, without treating every empty box as something you got wrong.

Small habits you could track

Choose something you actually want in your day. If you need ideas, start with one of these:

  • Movement: take a short walk, stretch for five minutes, or dance to one song.
  • A quiet moment: read a few pages, write a sentence, or sit outside with your morning drink.
  • Everyday care: drink a glass of water, make lunch, or start getting ready for bed a little earlier.
  • Connection: message a friend, call someone you miss, or put your phone away during a meal.

For more ideas, browse the self-care checklist. Pick something small enough to fit a busy day, then bring it back here to track.

A weekly habit tracker with room for real life

You do not need to fill every box. If you want to walk on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, tick those days and leave the others blank. The number at the bottom counts the things you did during the displayed week or month; it is not a completion score.

Miss a day, or a whole week, and your earlier progress stays put. You can return to the same habit, rename it to make it more manageable, or choose something that fits your life now.

questions

Habit tracker FAQs

Is this habit tracker free?

Yes. The online tracker is free to use, with no account, email address or subscription required. You can add up to 20 habits, switch between weekly and monthly views, revisit earlier dates and print either view.

Will my habits still be here tomorrow?

Yes, if your browser allows local storage. Use the same browser and device to come back to your habits and ticked days. Clearing site data removes them, and private browsing may remove them when you close the window. If saving fails, the tracker shows a warning.

Can I track habits on my phone?

Yes. This tracker works in your phone’s browser as well as on a tablet or computer. Habits are saved separately in each browser; they do not sync between devices or with the Meadow iPhone app.

What happens if I miss a day?

That day stays unticked. Your other ticked days stay exactly as they are. There is no streak to lose and no progress to reset. Come back whenever you are ready.

Can I tick a day I forgot to log?

Yes. Tick any day up to and including today. Choose Weekly or Monthly, then use the arrows to go back. Back to this week or Back to this month returns to the current period. Tap a tick again to undo it. Future days cannot be ticked.

Can I edit or remove a habit?

Choose Edit beside the habit. Renaming it keeps its ticked days. Removing it removes those days too, but the Undo button can restore the most recently removed habit until you leave or reload the page.

Can I print my habit tracker?

Yes. Add your habits, choose Weekly or Monthly and the dates you want, then select Print this week or Print this month. It prints the displayed period with your current ticks. For a blank template, use Download a blank printable habit tracker. The free, one-page PDF has six empty habit rows and an undated Monday-to-Sunday grid. You do not need to add any habits or sign up to download it.

How many habits should I start with?

Try one or two that fit into the day you already have. You can add more later. A habit does not have to happen every day to be worth tracking: leave the days you did not plan to do it blank.
