What it’s for

New habits take a long time to show results. That gap, between starting something and being able to see it working, is where most people give up.

Meadow fills that gap with something you can see on day one. Tick a habit off and a flower grows. Keep going and you have a picture of every day you showed up, long before the habit itself starts paying off.

What it isn’t

  • Not a fitness app. There are no workout plans, no exercise content, no calorie counts and no step goals. Movement is one thing people track, alongside reading, water, medication and everything else.
  • Not a coach. Meadow doesn’t set targets, grade you or tell you what your habits should be.
  • Not a streak tracker. There’s no number to lose. See missing a day.
  • Not a medical device. More on that below.

Who it’s for

Adults, 18 and over, who want to build a habit without being pushed. Meadow needs an iPhone; there’s no Android, iPad or Apple Watch version. See what Meadow doesn’t do yet.

Not medical advice

Meadow is for general wellbeing. It isn’t a medical device and it doesn’t give medical advice. If you’re managing an injury, a health condition or a pregnancy, ask a doctor or physiotherapist what’s suitable before you build a habit around it.

Who makes it

Meadow is made by Wildcard Wellness, a small company run by Spencer Lanoue. It started with a back injury, a set of daily exercises that helped, and the discovery that every habit app on offer punished the days when life got in the way. The longer version is on the about page.
