I missed a day (or a week). What happens to my meadow?
Nothing. Truly nothing. Your flowers are exactly where you left them, your day count is exactly what it was, and the next day you show up is simply the next day.
Why there are no streaks
Most habit apps punish you for being human. One busy day and the streak is gone, along with the reason to open the app. We built Meadow without that failure state on purpose.
- Flowers never die and never wilt.
- Your day count only goes up. It never resets.
- Nothing expires. Seeds, visitors, wins and stories all stay.
- Meadow never sends a “you missed a day” message. The worst possible day is “the meadow waited.”
What you’ll see when you come back
The same meadow you left, maybe with a visitor who wandered in while you were away. Check in, do one small thing, and a new flower blooms next to the others.
If you’ve been away a long time
Still nothing to catch up on. There’s no backlog and no penalty. You might notice Meadow suggests a little less for the first few days back, because you told it your energy was low. That’s it.
You cannot fail at feeling better. That’s a promise.
